CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
As ASSOS İlaç, Kimya, Gıda Ürünleri, Üretim ve Tic. A.Ş. (hereinafter referred to as “ASSOS”), we attach maximum importance to the security of your personal data. With this awareness, we place great importance on the processing and storage of personal data defined in the relevant legislation belonging to persons associated with ASSOS (hereinafter referred to as “Data Subject”) in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as “KVKK”). In this direction, your personal data may be processed by ASSOS, in the capacity of data controller, as explained below and within the limits prescribed by legislation.
1. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Your personal data may be processed by ASSOS, in the capacity of data controller, for the purposes of:
Execution of emergency management processes; execution of information security processes; execution of employee candidate, intern, student selection and placement processes; execution of employee satisfaction and loyalty processes; fulfillment of obligations arising from employment contracts and legislation for employees; execution of fringe benefit and interest processes for employees; execution of audit and ethical activities; execution of clinical study processes; execution of training activities; conducting activities in accordance with legislation; execution of finance and accounting affairs; ensuring physical space security; execution of assignment processes; follow-up and execution of legal affairs; execution of communication activities; planning of human resources processes; execution and supervision of business activities; execution of occupational health and safety activities; execution of logistics activities; execution of goods and service procurement processes; execution of after-sales support services for goods and services; execution of goods and service sales processes; execution of activities for customer satisfaction; execution of marketing analysis studies; execution of performance evaluation processes; execution of contract processes; ensuring the security of movable property and resources; execution of marketing processes for products and services; providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations; creation and tracking of visitor records.
2. TRANSFER OF DATA
Your personal data as a data subject may be transferred for the aforementioned purposes to supervisory and regulatory authorities, relevant public institutions, persons and/or institutions permitted by all other legislation to which ASSOS is subject, primarily the Law No. 6698, legally authorized public and/or private legal entities, our auditors, service providers, consultants, affiliates, subsidiaries, shareholders, and business partners.
3. YOUR RIGHTS
As ASSOS, we acknowledge and undertake that you possess all legal rights specified in Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 regarding all your processed personal data, and that we will fulfill all our obligations as required by the KVKK if you apply to us in accordance with the procedure set out in Article 5 of this Clarification Text within the framework of your relevant rights.
4. METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA COLLECTION
Your personal data is collected by ASSOS through all kinds of verbal, written, or electronic means in line with the aforementioned purposes. Your personal data is collected based on your explicit consent or the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.
5. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
You may submit your requests within the scope of Article 11 of the KVKK, which “regulates the rights of the data subject”, to us via any of the following methods in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller:
1. By sending a wet-signed copy to our address at Huzur Mahallesi Tosya Caddesi no:5 34773 Ümraniye, Istanbul,
2. By sending an email to our registered electronic mail (KEP) address assos@hs03.kep.tr with the subject line “Request for Information under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data”,
3. By sending an email to our electronic mail address verikoruma@assospharma.com with the subject line “Request for Information under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data”.
Although the principle is that no fee is charged for requests, if the transaction requires an additional cost for ASSOS, a fee may be requested within the framework of the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
We would also like to remind you that additional verifications may be requested by ASSOS in the applications made in order to prove the accuracy of your identity information. Personal information requested in this context is processed and used only for identity verification and to fulfill legal obligations under the KVKK.
In your written application, the date your application is notified to us as the data controller is your application date; for applications made via other methods, the date your application reaches us as the data controller will be accepted as your application date.
We kindly request that you attach any information and documents related to your request to your application.
